How do I wash my blanket? Can I put it in the dryer?
With proper care, a donakins blanket will last for years of adventures. All of our blankets can be put through a dryer cycle on low-moderate heat, and our full care instructions for each type of blanket can be found here.

Our flannel blankets are 36" x 36".
Our gauze blankets are 36" x 36".

What is the difference between premium and essential flannel?
All of our flannels are high quality, sustainable, and made from natural fibres, however our premium collection has a higher thread count for a slightly more luxurious feel. Whether you choose an essential flannel or a premium flannel blanket, you are getting a high quality blanket that is made to last.

What materials do you use?
Our double layer flannel blankets use high-quality cotton flannel, stitched with 100% Egyptian cotton thread.
Our gauze blankets use cotton gauze, stitched with 100% Egyptian cotton thread.
Our baby quilts use 100% cotton, natural cotton batting, and are stitched with 100% Egyptian cotton thread.

How do I know which blanket is right for me or the litte one I'm buying for?
Knowing which type of blanket to choose for a little one can sometimes be difficult!
While there is no wrong answer and every blanket type will come in handy, we suggest quilts for a gift that is "extra-special", flannels for a great everyday blanket, and gauze blankets for when you are on the run or need something lightweight.

What is "free-motion quilting"?
Our baby quilts are made using a free motion quilting technique to ensure each quilt is truly unique and special. Free motion quilting means that the stitching is controlled and guided by the person quilting the blanket, rather than by the traditional sewing machine tools. This gives the quilter more creative freedom and results in an artistic expression that makes the blanket one-of-a-kind.

Would a blanket make a good baby shower gift?
Absolutely! Guaze blankets are always a great option for swaddling, especially in the warmer months. Flannels make for a great all-purpose blanket (we've got lots of choices for any nursery). Our quilts are oh-so-special, a perfect gift from a group of friends or special family member.

All of our blankets come ready-to-gift, wrapped neatly, and packaged in a neutral, sustainable box filled with eco-friendly tissue paper. Just add a card and a bow.

What currency do you charge in?
All of our pricing is charged in Canadian Dollars (CAD).

There is a flat rate shipping charge of ten dollars in Canada.

How and when are blankets shipped?
Our blankets are ready for immediate shipping and will be sent within 24 hours of an order being placed.
Please note we do not guarantee any timescale for deliveries arriving, we can only give our best estimate of delivery times and are subject to any delays experienced by our designated shippers.

What is your return policy?
We want to ensure you find the perfect blanket, and we stand behind the quality of our products. If for any reason you are not happy with your purchase, it can be returned within 30 days of purchase for a full refund.
